Renewal/Crisis Management

Renewal/Crisis Management joins the Center for Inventory Management as an affiliate Management Consulting firm. Headed by Richard A. Johnson, CTP, Renewal/Crisis Management provides companies who are in a decline or face financial crisis, expert turn-around assistance.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT

When a crisis exists, industry experience is less important than the knowledge to make critical survival decisions quickly. Our Turn Around Professionals can either provided guidance to the existing management or provide interim management when the current management is compromised or lack the experience to save the company. Often a new face can become the catalyst for resolution of previously hardened positions.

Once a plan of action is formulated, the plan is presented for approval to all key parties, both inside and outside the company. This includes the Board of Directors, management team, creditors and customers.

When the turn-around is completed, the company is returned to normalcy as quickly as possible.

RENEWAL STRATEGY

Many companies find the latest corporate renewal buzz words are painful euphemisms for costly and disruptive events that fall short of the intended goals and leave employee loyalties shattered.

How renewal efforts are applied to just four elements of organizational productivity explains the wide difference in results by companies purporting to do the same thing. Applying the ideas to the wrong elements can damage or destroy a company.

A business does not have to cease existence to be an economic failure or fail to meet the needs of owners, customers, and employees. Most decline is gradual. Early warning signs are often ignored until the company is forced to act.

Renewal guidance by our professionals will identify problems and suggest ways to evolve before more radical and painful changes are required.

Rich Johnson is on the Board of the Atlanta Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants. He is the President-elect of the Chapter. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Turn-around Management Association, Atlanta Chapter.
